Belarus and Kyrgyzstan

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic were established on January 21, 1993.

In October 2014, September 2016, April 2017 and November 2019, within the framework of the meetings of the integration bodies in Minsk and Bishkek, the working meetings of the Presidents of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan were held.

In November 2017, the President of Kyrgyzstan paid a working visit to Belarus to attend a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council.

In November 2018 and June 2020 in Minsk, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. 

The Intergovernmental Belarusian-Kyrgyz Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was established in 2000. The ninth meeting of the commission was held in February 2020 in Minsk. 

In 2020, trade with the Kyrgyz Republic amounted to $ 75.1 million, including exports — $ 66.6 million. 

The main Belarusian export commodity items to Kyrgyzstan are fresh or chilled beef, poultry meat and offal, tractors and truck tractors, sugar, medicines, cheese and cottage cheese, insulated wires, cables, furniture, joinery products, carpets. 

Parts and accessories for automobiles and tractors (mainly radiators), machines and mechanisms for cleaning and threshing crops, copper waste and scrap, cotton fiber, petroleum products, dried legumes, dried fruits, nuts, shoes, were imported from Kyrgyzstan.

In the Kyrgyz Republic, there are 63 representative offices and distributors of Belarusian enterprises, including the assembly production of MTZ OJSC tractors (opened in November 2016).
