Extension of the visa-free entry to citizens of 35 European countries 

 

By the decision of the Head of State, the visa-free entry for citizens of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia (as well as non-citizens of Latvia), which has been in force since 2022, has been extended to citizens of 35 more European countries

10. Estonia (including stateless persons permanently residing in Estonia).

20. Luxembourg. 
21. Malta. 
22. Monaco.

Since 8:00 a.m. on 19 July 2024, the visa-free entry to Belarus and exit from Belarus through all road and railway international checkpoints across the State border of the Republic of Belarus with valid documents for travelling abroad for the period of temporary stay in Belarus not exceeding thirty days from the date of entry is established for the citizens of the 35 above states (for citizens of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia (as well as non-citizens of Latvia) - not exceeding 90 days from the date of entry). The visa-free entry through Belarusian airports, which has been applied so far, is also retained.

Foreigners arriving visa-free in Belarus will be able to transit, including through airport checkpoints, to third countries, except Russia

You can use the right of visa-free entry to Belarus an unlimited number of times up to and including December 31, 2025. The number of days of visa-free stay in Belarus should not exceed 90 days in a calendar year

This procedure does not apply to holders of diplomatic, service, special and other passports equivalent to them. At the same time, holders of biometric diplomatic passports issued by EU member states can enter, leave and transit through the territory of the Republic of Belarus without visas in accordance with the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the European Union on the facilitation of the issuance of visas.
