Biometric Documents of the Republic of Belarus
On September 1, 2021 the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of March 16, 2021 “On the biometric documents” came into force. According to this Act the Republic of Belarus issues the following biometric documents for the exit from and (or) for the entry to the Republic of Belarus:
- biometric passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus
- biometric diplomatic passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus
- biometric official passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus
- biometric travel document
- travel document (Convention of 28 July 1951)
