Procedure for Requesting Permission for Use of Airspace
The State Protocol Service coordinates with the corresponding governmental agencies the procedure of obtaining permissions to use the air space of the Republic of Belarus by the foreign aircraft performing special flights and flights of particular importance with Heads of States or Heads of Governments.
To request via diplomatic channels the permission to use the air space of the Republic of Belarus (with or without landing), it is necessary to send the verbal note with an application form to the State Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus no later than five working days before the planned date of the flight.
The request for the permission to transport dangerous or special cargo (goods) in the air space of the Republic of Belarus is transferred via diplomatic channels at least 30 days prior to the planned date of the flight.
