Question of Radio Liberty journalist:
The OSCE Chairman-in-Office and the OSCE General Secretary expressed their intention to visit Belrus on July 1-2. Will they have such a possibility?
Answer of MFA Press-secretary Pavel Latushka:
We are aware of this intention.
Firstly, the proposed terms of the visit are not convenient for the Belarusian side as the visit is planned on the eve of the chief state holiday.
Secondly, we base ourselves on the fact that in case this would be the OSCE Chairman-in-Office visit, then we should see his clear-cut proposals on settlement of our relationship and his readiness to consider the issues that we have proposed at the OSCE Standing Council. The OSCE Advisory and Monitoring Group is a secondary matter.
We supports the organization of the meeting, however, it should have an agenda.
