Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus in connection with the terror attacks in Baghdad (July 4, 2016, Minsk)

With deep pain the Republic of Belarus has learnt the news about double terror attack, that took place in Baghdad, which caused the death of unprecedented number of civilians and, the most sadly, children.

The Belarusian side strongly condemns all acts of terrorism and believes that acts of violence against civilians can never be justified.

We call on the international community to continue assistance to Iraq in establishing peace throughout the country.

We express our condolences to the families and friends of those killed and wish a speedy recovery to those injured.
