Consul General of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City R.Varankou meets the leadership of Vietnam's Dong Nai Province

On September 12, 2024 the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, Ruslan Varankou, met with the Secretary of the Party Committee of Dong Nai Province of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Hong Linh, as well as the Chairman of the People’s Committee of this province, Vo Tan Duc.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to promising areas of co-operation between Belarus and Dong Nai Province, first of all, in the field of industry. The parties agreed to work out the possibility of establishing twinning ties between the province and one of the regions of Belarus.
The two sides discussed cooperation in education, in particular, joint programmes to train personnel for Vietnamese enterprises and scientific cooperation on the basis of Belarusian and Vietnamese universities.
The Belarusian diplomat noted the willingness of Belarusian companies to participate in infrastructure projects in the province.
The Belarusian diplomat also stressed the mutual interest in further expanding cooperation in agriculture.
