Ambassador of Belarus D.Krutoi meets with the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation

On September 8, 2022 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, Dmitry Krutoi, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Yury Vorobyov.
During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of Belarusian-Russian relations and integration processes within the framework of the Union State.
The Ambassador of Belarus noted the special role of the parliaments of the two countries in the legislative support for the implementation of 28 union programs, in order to implement which more than 400 normative legal acts and bilateral agreements are to be adopted.
The parties focused on preparations for the upcoming tenth anniversary Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia in Ufa in 2023. In this context, D.Krutoi expressed confidence that the results of the Forum will become another significant contribution of Belarusian and Russian senators to the expansion of interregional interaction and strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
