Ambassador of Belarus L.Marinich meets the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On April 16, 2024 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Leonid Marinich, met with the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Adham Ikramov.

An exchange of views took place on current issues of Belarusian-Uzbek cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports. The interlocutors noted the positive dynamics of interaction and discussed the implementation of measures under the cooperation programme signed in February 2024 by the heads of the sports departments of the two countries.

The sides exchanged information on the main international and national sporting events to be held in Belarus and Uzbekistan in 2024, confirmed mutual interest in using sports bases and centres of both countries to hold training camps and match meetings.
