Belarus parliamentary delegation will visit China
15 January 2002A parliamentary delegation of the Belarus National Assembly led by chairman of the Council of the Republic Aleksandr Voitovich will pay an official visit to China on January 17-24. The visit's program includes talks with the chairman of the permanent committee of the All Chinese Assembly of People's Representatives Li Peng, deputy chairman of the People's Republic of China Hu Jingtao, deputy prime-minister of the State Council of the country Qian Qichen. The delegation members plan to visit the province Hubai, which the Brest oblast co-operates with, and some cities. The Belarusian parliamentarians will take part in the events, which are organized by the Chinese people's society of friendship with foreign countries and are devoted to the 10th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
