Ambassador of Belarus Uladzimir Baravikou meets with the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar

On March 28, 2025 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Uladzimir Baravikou, met with the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar, Than Swe, in Nay Pyi Taw.
The negotiations were held outside the building of the Myanmar Foreign Ministry for security reasons due to the earthquake in Nay Pyi Taw.
The parties reaffirmed the importance of implementing the agreements reached between the leaders of the two countries during the official visit of the Chairman of the State Administrative Council, the Prime Minister of Myanmar, Min Aung Hlaing, to Belarus on March 6-7, 2025.
Concrete steps to implement theses agreements in the short and medium term were discussed. Special attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects in the trade and economic sphere.
