Political consultations between Foreign Ministries of Belarus and Pakistan

On July 27, 2021, the fifth round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan took place in Minsk.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikalai Barysevich, the Pakistani Side – by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Tariq.

During the consultations the Sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of the Belarusian-Pakistani dialogue, including the liberalization of the visa regime, agreed upon the approaches to develop the legal framework of relations between the two countries.

Special attention was payed to the organization for the mutual exchange of visits and specific ways to intensify trade and economic cooperation.
