Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus M.Ryzhenkov meets Ambassador of China

On 21 May 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, Zhang Wenchuan.
The parties gave a positive assessment of the dynamics of trade turnover between Belarus and China.
The sides exchanged views in a traditionally constructive manner on the most pressing issues on the bilateral and international agenda, paying particular attention to the forthcoming contacts between the leaders of the two countries, as well as to the holding of a number of trade, economic and investment-related events.
The Belarusian Foreign Minister reiterated Belarus's commitment to the One China principle and its support for the Chinese government’s efforts to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
