Ambassador of Belarus V.Baranovsky presents credentials to the President of the Dominican Republic

On May 22, 2023  the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, Valery Baranovsky, presented his credentials to the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Rodolfo Abinader Corona. The ceremony was also attended by Vice President, Raquel Peña Rodriguez, and Foreign Minister, Roberto Alvarez.

Interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas was confirmed. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for building up trade and economic cooperation.

For reference: V.Baranovsky became the first Ambassador of Belarus to the Dominican Republic. In February 2022, the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Belarus with residence in Moscow, Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Belarus, A.G. Lukashenko.
