Belarus tractor of 21st century is designed by computer

New model of Belarusian tractor of the 21st century will be entirely developed with the help of computer design. The tailor made system of automated design has been introduced at the plant by specialists of the unitary scientific-production enterprise "Micro Express". Specialists of the main specialized bureau of the Minsk tractor works are developing the units of tractors in three-dimensional volume. At present by means of computer-aided design specialists of the enterprise have elaborated a pre-production model of a front axel for tractors of 90-120 horse power, and also are developing transmission and other important parts. Computer technologies are used to develop up-to-date design, exterior and interior revetment of the new tractors.

In previous years it used to take 5-7 years to develop a new model of agricultural tractor. At present this term will be reduced down to 2-3 years. The computerized modeling reduces costs for a pre-production development as well..
