Ambassador of Belarus S.Chepurnoy participates in the ceremony of handing over of fire-fighting machines to the Mongolian National Emergency Management Agency

On October 7, 2020 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Mongolia, Stanislav Chepurnoy, took part in the solemn ceremony of handing over to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of Mongolia the first part of fire-fighting and rescue machines on MAZ chassis, delivered under the Agreement between Governments of two countries.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, Yangug Sodbaatar, the head of the NEMA, Gombojav Ariunbuyan, acting Mayor of Ulanbaatar, Zhantsan Batbayasgalan.

In his welcoming speech, the Ambassador S.Chepurnoy highly appreciated the Belarusian-Mongolian cooperation and noted the prospects for the implementation of joint projects under the export credit scheme, stressing the particular importance of the successful implementation of the first project for the supply of Belarusian fire-fighting machines.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador S.Chepurnoy had a short conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Y.Sodbaatar, during which the practical implementation of the project for the modernization of the NEMA machinery park was discussed.
