Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Aleinik meets the Ambassador of Zimbabwe

On April 23, 2024 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Republic of Belarus, Ignatius Graham Mudzimba.
The parties discussed the current issues of Belarusian-Zimbabwean cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit to Zimbabwe of the President of the Republic of Belarus, A.Lukashenko, in January 2023, as well as during the 1st meeting of the Joint Standing Commission on Cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Zimbabwe in February 2024.
The parties agreed to conduct in the near future an interim review of the implementation of bilateral projects in the fields of agriculture and food production, education, healthcare, industrial cooperation. This work will be carried out by the Joint Commission with the participation of the representatives of relevant ministries and organisations.
S.Aleinik congratulated the Ambassador on the 44th anniversary of Zimbabwe's independence.
