Meeting of the Belarusian-Cuban Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation

On June 10, 2024 Minsk hosted the opening of the 11th meeting of the Belarusian-Cuban Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. The Commission was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Evgeny Shestakov on the Belarusian side and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz on the Cuban side.
In the course of the event, the parties discussed the main areas of cooperation, including the expansion of mutual trade in goods, interaction in the financial and banking sector, implementation of projects in agriculture, food, industry, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, science and tourism.
On June 11 and 12, the delegations will continue their joint work within the framework of breakout groups.
