Charge d'Affaires of Poland was summoned to the Foreign Ministry of Belarus

On December 11, 2024 the Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Belarus, Krzysztof Ozhanna, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry. The Belarusian side lodged a strong protest and handed the Note to the Polish diplomat in connection with the recent attempt by Polish special services to recruit a Belarusian diplomat in Chisinau.

The Belarusian side pointed out the inadmissibility of provocative actions of the Polish special services, which grossly violate international law and seriously damage bilateral relations, and demanded that the Polish side take all necessary measures to prevent similar situations in the future.

The head of the Polish diplomatic mission was warned that the Belarusian side reserves the right to take response measures that it deems necessary.
