Consul General of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City R.Varankou meets Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province

On 21 August 2024, the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, Ruslan Varankou, met with the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Nguyen Van Tho.
The parties noted the significant potential for further strengthening cooperation between Belarus and Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, first of all in trade, economic and investment spheres, and also discussed ways to expand co-operation in a number of other areas.
R.Varankou stressed Belarus' readiness to take part in the implementation of infrastructure and industrial projects in the province, as well as the supply of municipal and construction equipment.
Nguyen Van Tho expressed interest in increasing the number of Belarusian tourists in the seaside resorts of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
Agreed to work out the issue of establishing twinning ties between one of the regional centre of Belarus and Vung Tau.
