Ambassador of Belarus U.Baravikou holds meetings in Vientiane (Laos)

On November 29, 2024 within the framework of his working trip to Vientiane (Lao People's Democratic Republic), the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, Uladzimir Baravikou, met with the Deputy Minister of Health of Laos, Snong Thongsna.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to cooperation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, with special attention paid to medical education and the establishment of mutual supplies of pharmaceutical products.
Ambassador of Belarus V.Borovikov was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos, Thongsavanh Phomvihane. The diplomats reviewed the state and prospects for political and humanitarian cooperation between Belarus and Laos, discussed plans to develop the bilateral legal framework with a focus on the trade and economic sphere, as well as the liberalization of visa procedures.
In the framework of his visit to Vientiane, at the invitation of the President of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith, the Belarusian diplomat took part in the ceremony marking the 49th Anniversary of the Independence of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
