Belarusian-Kyrgyz inter-MFA consultations

On January 30, 2023 another round of Belarusian-Kyrgyz inter-MFA consultations was held in Minsk. The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Nazaruk, the Kyrgyz one was headed by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Asein Isaev.

Consultations covered a wide range of issues relating to the Belarusian-Kyrgyz relations and identified key areas for stepping up cooperation. A special focus was placed on the interaction of the parties within the integration structures (EAEU, CIS, CSTO, SCO) and international platforms (UN, OSCE).

 

 

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to continue promoting the dialogue between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan through the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and discussed practical aspects of joint activities, including those timed to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic.

 

 

Based on the results of the consultations, the Program of Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2023-2024 and the Plan of actions, dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic, were signed.
