Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus M.Barysevich meets the Ambassador of Iraq

On September 16, 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Mikalai Barysevich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus (concurrently) Abdulrahman Hamid Mohammed Al-Hussaini.
During the conversation, the sides discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the political consultations between the foreign ministries of Belarus and Iraq that took place in Baghdad in June 2021.
A special attention was paid to the preparation of the next round of the Joint Belarusian-Iraqi Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as visits of Iraqi officials to Belarus to elaborate specific bilateral projects.
The interlocutors also discussed issues of cooperation of the two countries in the education and humanitarian spheres.
