Official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Republic of Belarus

On October 28-30, 2025, at the invitation of the Belarusian side, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Choe Son Hui is paying an official visit to the Republic of Belarus.

During the visit, the North Korean delegation took part in the events of the III Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, where the DPRK Foreign Minister delivered a speech.

The North Korean Foreign Minister laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk.

During the talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov, the parties discussed the development of traditionally friendly relations between the two countries. It was noted that the Belarusian-Korean cooperation is based on the principles of respect for sovereignty, equality and mutual benefit.

The Ministers noted the intensification of dialogue at various levels and discussed the schedule of bilateral contacts. An agreement was reached to expand cooperation in all areas, including in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other fields.

They confirmed their readiness for further mutual support on international platforms in order to form a just multipolar world order.

We agreed on concrete steps to strengthen cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries to bring relations to a new level.
