Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus I.Secreta participats in Belarusian-Russian interministerial consultations

On April 9, 2025 Moscow hosted the regular Belarusian-Russian interministerial consultations at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers with the participation of the Permanent Representatives of Belarus and Russia to the OSCE. The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Secreta, and the Russian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Grushko.
In the course of the consultations, the parties discussed topical issues of global and pan-European security. There was a thorough exchange of views on promising areas of joint work within the OSCE, as well as on the state of affairs and coordination of action within the EU, NATO, the Council of Europe and subregional associations.
On the previous day, Igor Secreta held consultations with the Director of the Foreign Policy Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexei Drobinin. The parties agreed further steps to promote the initiative of the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the XXI century, including on the platform of the Third Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, which will be held in the autumn of this year.
