Exchange of Letters of Congratulation between Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Bulgaria on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations

On March 27, 2017 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Belarus, Angel Ganev.

During the meeting, the Bulgarian Ambassador presented the Letter of Congratulation by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Radi Naidenov, to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Bulgaria (March 26, 2017).

The parties discussed current state and prospects for development of the Belarusian-Bulgarian relations.

Earlier, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Bulgaria, Vladimir Voronkovich, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, Lubomir Ivanov.

The Bulgarian side was presented with the equivalent Letter of Congratulation from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus to the Head of the Bulgarian Foreign Office

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, V.Makei, underlines in his letter a positive dynamics of the development of bilateral political contacts, trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation, regional and humanitarian ties.

Ambassador of Belarus and Deputy Foreign Minister of Bulgaria discussed prospects for holding the next meeting of the Belarus-Bulgaria Intergovernmental Commission, as well as a number of events in the economic realm.
