Ambassador of Belarus A.Ogorodnikov meets with the Minister of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan

On March 27, 2025 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Alexander Ogorodnikov, met with the Minister of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Khilola Umarova.
The parties discussed the whole range of issues related to cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in the education field.
Particular attention was paid to the progress in the implementation of the agreements in the field of preschool and school education, and the schedule of upcoming joint events, including the preparation of the Uzbek-Belarusian Education Forum, was discussed.
As a positive example of cooperation, the interlocutors noted the implementation of an innovative project to create a system of pedagogical profile classes in Uzbekistan, taking into account the relevant Belarusian experience.
The Ambassador of Belarus informed about the existing programme of grants for Uzbek school graduates to study in Belarusian universities.
The parties welcomed the interaction in the field of youth policy and the participation of children and youth of Belarus and Uzbekistan in joint projects, such as "Memory Train" and "Children of the Commonwealth".
The interlocutors hailed the humanitarian project to invite children from Uzbekistan to participate in an international shift at the National Children's Educational and Health Center "Zubrenok".
