Consul General T.Kharlap meets the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region

On 20 June 2024 Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Hong Kong, Tatyana Kharlap, met with the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, He Yicheng.
The parties discussed intensification of cooperation between Belarus and Macao, including specific projects in the areas of trade, education, tourism, cultural exchanges, formation of a legal framework, organization of mutual visits.
The Consul General reaffirmed Belarus' commitment to the «One China» principle and the focus on intensifying interaction with special administrative regions of China.
He Yicheng noted that there is a great-untapped potential for cooperation with Belarus, the openness of the Macao market to Belarusian goods and services, readiness to develop interregional ties with Belarusian regions, and invited to participate in international events held in Macao.
