Foreign Minister of Belarus S.Aleinik chaires the 8th meeting of the Advisory Council for the Affairs of Belarusians Abroad

On December 13, 2023 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, chaired the 8th meeting of the Advisory Council for the Affairs of Belarusians Abroad.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, the heads of public associations of Belarusians abroad, representatives of state bodies and institutions of Belarus and public organisations.
In his speech, S.Aleinik welcomed the expansion of the Advisory Council and noted the growing interest of Belarusians abroad in this format of interaction and the increasing importance of the Advisory Council itself.
During the event the results of cooperation in 2023 between the state and the Belarusian diaspora, socio-political and socio-economic situation in the country were considered, as well as current issues and plans for the further development of cooperation.
Whilst in Minsk, the representatives of the diaspora will visit a number of industrial and historical sites, hold a series of meetings and negotiations.
