Ambassador of Ukraine summoned to Belarus' Foreign Ministry

On December 29, 2022 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Belarus, Igor Kizim, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to receive a strong demarche in connection with the launch of the S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile from the territory of Ukraine towards the territory of Belarus.
The Belarusian air defense forces shot down this aerial target. Its fragments were found in an agricultural field near the village of Gorbakha, Ivanovo district, Brest region.
The Belarusian side demanded that Ukraine conduct a thorough investigation into all the circumstances of this missile launch, hold those responsible to account and take comprehensive measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future, as they can lead to catastrophic consequences for everyone.
