Ambassador of Belarus V.Rybak visits Iraq

On December 8-9, 2020 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkey and to the Republic of Iraq concurrently, Viсtor Rybak, paid a visit to Baghdad.

During the visit V.Rybak presented copies of his Credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Fuad Hussein, and presented Credentials to the President of Iraq, Barham Salih.

During the meetings with the President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, the sides discussed the current state and prospects of development of Belarusian-Iraqi relations, with an emphasis on enhancing trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Iraq.

V.Rybak visited the office of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Baghdad, got acquainted with its functioning processes and held negotiations with the Honorary Consul, Majeed al-Kaissi, on further expansion of Belarusian-Iraqi cooperation.
