Ambassador of Belarus A.Ogorodnikov meets the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan

On March 19, 2025 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Alexander Ogorodnikov, met with the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kongratbay Sharipov.
During the meeting, topical issues of cooperation in the field of higher education, training and retraining of personnel were discussed.
The interlocutors discussed the establishing of the branches of Belarusian universities in Uzbekistan, creating of the Scientific and Educational Consortium between Belarusian and Uzbek universities, allocation of grants for the training of talented young people from Uzbekistan in Belarusian universities, preparations to the upcoming meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Commission on Cooperation in Science and Technology.
