Belarusian delegation participates in the International Conference “Business Day of the Republic of Belarus” in Czechia

On October 3-5, 2018 the Belarusian delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Co-Chair of the Belarusian-Czech Joint Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, Evgeny Shestakov, visiting Czechia.

On October 3, the Deputy Minister took part in the International Conference “Business Day of the Republic of Belarus”, organized in the framework of the 60-th Jubilee International Engineering Fair “MSV 2018” in Brno. The event was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Czechia, the Co-Chair of the Belarusian-Czech Joint Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, Eduard Muřický, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Czechia, Miloslav Stašek, the Chair of the Chamber of Trade and Industry for CIS Countries, František Masopust, representatives of more than 40 Czech companies.

Within the framework of the Business Day, economic potential of Belarus, prospects for the development of the Belarusian-Czech regional cooperation, in particular, with the Minsk region were presented.

On the margins of the conference, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czechia, Martin Tlapa. The sides discussed bilateral relations, implementation of current and prospects for future joint economic and investment projects.

The exhibitors from the Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry, the petrochemical and metals industries, some institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus demonstrate wide range of products and recent scientific achievements at the collective exposure of the Republic of Belarus “Made in Belarus”.
