Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov pays a working visit to Czechia

On October 4, 2018 in the framework of the working visit to Prague, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, met with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Czechia, Eduard Muricky.

The sides discussed the implementation of the agreements reached in May in Minsk during the 10-th session of the Belarusian-Czech Joint Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical cooperation that is co-chaired by E.Shestakov and E.Muricky, plans for holding joint events in 2019, as well as further development of bilateral cooperation.

E.Shestakov also met with the Deputy Chair of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Czechia, Vojtech Filip. The sides discussed current state and prospects for development of the interparliamentary cooperation between Belarus and Czechia, stated a mutual interest in expansion of interaction between MPs of both countries with an emphasis on economic projects implementation.

Main subjects of the meeting between E.Shestakov and the Chair of the Czech-Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Denis Karpovich, were the implementation of bilateral economic projects and opportunities for further increasing Belarusian export to Czechia.
