Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Ambassador of Russia

On September 11, 2018 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus, Mikhail Babich, on the occasion of presentation of copies of his Credentials.

V.Makei wished the Ambassador of Russia successes and expressed hope for active joint work aimed at further strengthening of the strategic relations between Minsk and Moscow.

During the meeting, topical issues of the Belarusian-Russian relations and the nearest agenda of bilateral political contacts at the highest and high levels were discussed. The parties considered practical steps on intensification of trade and economic cooperation.

The sides also touched upon the topic of interaction within the framework of integration associations.
