Ambassador of Belarus I.Petrishenko meets the Ambassador of Denmark and the representative of the Faroe Islands

On December 6, 2017 in the Embassy of Belarus in Moscow hosted the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation, Igor Petrishenko, with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus non-resident, Thomas Winkler, as well as the representative of the Faroe Islands to the Russian Federation, Bjorn Kunoy.

During the meeting the sides discussed the topical issues of bilateral political and trade-economic cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the issues of the development of investment cooperation, expansion of the legal framework of bilateral relations, as well as possible areas of economic cooperation with the Faroe Islands.

Background information: Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Kingdom of Denmark were established in February 1992. In 2016, mutual trade amounted to 94.6 million dollars.
