Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus A.Dapkiunas meets the Ambassador of Burkina Faso

On September 19, 2018 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Dapkiunas, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to the Republic of Belarus non-resident, Antoine Somdah.
The sides discussed the preparation of the intergovernmental framework agreement on cooperation and a number of bilateral agreements on cooperation in the fields of agriculture, science, technology and education.
The parties considered possible schedule of bilateral contacts at high level and prospects for establishment of closer cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.
Special attention was paid to the resumption of elaboration of possibility of arrangement of supplies of Belarusian agricultural equipment to Burkina Faso and the promotion of more active direct contacts between the business circles of Belarus and Burkina Faso.
The Deputy Minister and Ambassador also exchanged information on the opportunities for the development of bilateral cooperation within the UN and other international organizations.
