Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Ukraine

On February 26, 2018 Minsk hosted consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Ukraine.
The Belarusian delegation was headed by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrei Yeudachenka, the Ukrainian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vasyl Bodnar.
During the event, the parties discussed current state and prospects for the development of Belarusian-Ukrainian relations in the political, trade and economic spheres, interaction between Belarus and Ukraine within international organizations.
In the course of the consultations, the parties considered issues of humanitarian and consular cooperation.
The sides confirmed the importance of the intensification of contacts at the level of the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and agreed on further practical steps for their development.
The Head of the Ukrainian delegation met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Vladimir Makei.
The sides discussed Belarus-Ukraine cooperation on the most topical issues on the bilateral agenda, organization of upcoming joint events.
