Fifth Meeting of the Belarusian-Ukrainian High-Level Working Group on Mutual Trade

On February 25, 2019 Lviv hosted the Fifth meeting of the Belarusian-Ukrainian High-Level Working Group on mutual trade. The meeting was organized as a follow-up to agreements reached at the highest level during the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine.
The delegation of Belarus was headed by the First Deputy Foreign Minister, Andrei Yeudachenka, the Ukrainian delegation was led by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Oleksii Perevezentsev.
In a constructive and open dialogue, the parties discussed problematic issues in the trade field and joint efforts aimed at minimizing their negative impact on the development of Belarusian-Ukrainian relations. The participants noted a positive dynamics of bilateral trade and economic cooperation that had strengthened in 2018 and reaffirmed their commitment to its’ further development and deepening.
Following the results of the meeting, the Protocol was signed.
