Ambassador of Belarus I.Paluyan visited the province of Cotopaxi

On May 17, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ecuador Igar Paluyan had a working visit to the province of Cotopaxi, Ecuador.
During the visit, the head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission met with the Prefect of province of Cotopaxi, Mashi Jorge Guaman Coronel, and representatives of business community, during which the sides discussed prospects of establishing trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and the Ecuadorian province.
Ambassador of Belarus also met with the Rector, Staff and students of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, which is located in the provincial capital, city Latacunga. Igar Paluyan briefed with the educational and research activities of the University, informed the Ecuadorian side of higher and professional education in Belarus and the positive dynamics of the Belarusian-Ecuadorian scientific, technical and educational cooperation.
The sides agreed on establishment of cooperation of the Technical University of Cotopaxi with Belarusian universities and research centers.
