Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei is taking part in the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly as part of the Belarusian delegation headed by the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

On the second day of the visit, September 28, 2015 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus held meetings and talks with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic and Georgia. The ministers discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, the ways of developing trade and economic relations, as well as exchanged their views on the current issues of world politics.

At the meeting of Vladimir Makei with Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn the parties continued the discussion, started a day earlier with Federica Mogherini, on the possibilities of developing the relations of Belarus with the EU and its Member States.
