Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations

On October 30, 2018 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, who is visiting Minsk to participate in the meeting of the Core Group of the Munich Security Conference.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current issues in relations between Belarus and the European Union. The parties discussed progress in talks on bilateral Partnership Priorities for 2018-2020 and on Visa Facilitation/Readmission Agreements, Belarus’ accession to WTO, current state and prospects for cooperation in the Eastern Partnership framework, implementation of a number of EU-funded projects in Belarus.
Earlier the same day Johannes Hahn met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Rumas.
