On the Second Round of Negotiations on the Conclusion by the Republic of Belarus and the European Union of the Agreements on Simplification of Visa Procedures and Readmission

On November 24 – 25, 2014 in Brussels (Belgium) the second round of negotiations on the conclusion by the Republic of Belarus and the European Union of the agreements on the simplification of visa procedures and readmission was held.
The Belarusian delegation included the representatives of the consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Ministry of Interior, the EU delegation included the representatives of Directorate-General for Home Affairs of the European Commission.
Delegations continued to work on the draft agreements, taking into account the amendments and comments offered by the parties following the results of the first round held in Minsk on June 12 – 13 2014.
It is planned that the third round of talks will be held in Minsk in the beginning of 2015.
