Telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs S.Aleinik and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia

On May 21, 2024 the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Aleinik, had a telephone conversation with the Serbian counterpart, Marko Đurić.
A number of topical issues were discussed in the spirit of traditionally constructive bilateral relations.
Mutual readiness to strengthen cooperation, to continue political and intersectoral dialogue was confirmed. The sides discussed the prospects of contacts for the current year.
The issue of mutual support in multilateral platforms, first of all, in the UN system was separately considered. The sides noted the proximity of approaches and mutual desire to continue coordinated activities to address key issues on the international agenda.
Both countries expressed their willingness to resist attempts to distort certain historical events in the Balkans.
