Ambassador of Belarus A.Mikhnevich meets members of the European Parliament

On August 30, 2016 the Head of Mission of the Republic of Belarus to the European Union, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Belgium, Aleksandr Mikhnevich, met with MEP, Co-President of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, Heidi Hautala, and MEP, Chair of the EP’s Delegation for relations with Belarus, Bogdan Zdrojewski.
A.Mikhnevich informed the European parliamentarians about the modalities of the parliamentary election campaign in Belarus.
The sides discussed actual relations between Belarus and EU, exchanged views on perspectives of development of Belarus’ cooperation with the European parliament and participation in Parliamentary dimension of the Eastern Partnership.
The topics of Eurasian Economic Union, process of Belarus’ accession to the WTO and intercultural dialogue were also discussed during the meeting.
