Ambassador of Belarus S.Rachkov visits South Sinai Governorate

On June 30 – July 1, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergei Rachkov, visited the South Sinai Governorate, Egypt.

During the visit, the Ambassador of Belarus held a meeting with the Governor of South Sinai Governorate, Khaled Fouda Seddik.

The parties discussed development of trade, economic, research, technologic and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the South Sinai Governorate, as well as the conclusion of twin-cities agreement. The Belarusian side was invited to join the creation of industrial zones and development of new agricultural land in the Governorate of South Sinai through organization of supply of equipment, machines, and implementation of Belarusian technologies.

The Belarusian Ambassador also met with the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Givara El Gafy, and business community representatives of the Governorate, during which the export potential of the Republic of Belarus was presented.

Ambassador of Belarus met with the heads of authorities responsible for security of Belarusian tourists arriving to the resorts of South Sinai.
