The Belarusian side welcomes the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of Ukraine, dated September 8, 2016 № 360/2016 / 4411-05 on renunciation, starting from September 15 this year, of special fee in the amount of 39.2% regarding the significant items of Belarusian export to Ukraine (tractors, dairy and fish products, beer, vodka, refrigerators and freezers, legwear, glazed tiles, etc.).

This decision is part of the agreements, reached during the fourth session of the Belarusian-Ukrainian High Level Working Group on mutual trade ( September 2, 2016, Kiev). Co-Chairman of the Working Group from Belarusian side is the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Yeudachenka.

The decision will eliminate a key constraint to the trade and economic relations between Belarus and Ukraine, as well as create predictability in trade relations between the two countries and help to increase mutual trade turnover.

The Belarusian side expressed hope to continue the constructive dialogue with the Ukrainian partners, aimed at the rejection of the introduction of unjustified trade barriers and the solution of all disputes exclusively by means of consultations.
