Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov meets the Ambassador of Uruguay

On September 30, 2024 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, received copies of the Credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay to the Republic of Belarus, Daniel Castillos Gomez.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current state and prospects for the development of the Belarusian-Uruguayan dialogue in areas of mutual interest. Special attention was paid to the promotion of trade and economic cooperation, primarily in agriculture, industry, healthcare, and information technology. 

The sides noted the need for consistent development of the legal framework of bilateral relations.
