Ambassador of Belarus V.Serpikov meets the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia

On July 22, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Serpikov, met with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia, Miroslav Lajcak, on occasion of the completion of the Ambassador's diplomatic mission to Slovakia.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues regarding the current state and prospects for development of Belarusian-Slovak relations, as well as Belarus- EU dialogue.

Ambassador of Belarus expressed gratitude to the Slovak side for constructive joint work on the development of bilateral Belarusian-Slovak cooperation in various fields, including the maintenance of a constructive political dialogue, intensification of interparliamentary cooperation, expansion of trade and economic cooperation, as well as the collaboration in the spheres of culture, education, tourism and sport.

Miroslav Lajcak for his part expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for productive work, which, in his opinion, contributed to the strengthening of cooperation between Slovakia and Belarus in various spheres.
