On February 26, 2024 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam and Laos (concurrently), Uladzimir Baravikou, met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos Bounleua Phandanouvong.

The parties discussed current issues of bilateral relations and mutual support in international organizations. The sides agreed to hold political consultations between the foreign ministries in the near future, as well as to resume the meetings of the Belarus-Laos Commission on Bilateral Cooperation.
